Dutch Touch at Affordable Art Fair-2025
It’s that time of the year again! It’s a high-time for Affordable Art Fair-2025, which follows a very successful edition of BRAFA! This time, while it’s grey outside, the lights are on between the 5th & 9th of February!

And it doesn’t disappoint again, thanks to the clever and creative approach of its director: Blythe Balton and her young, fun and dedicated team of like-minded and passionate art professionals and organizers!
Welcoming halls of Tour & Taxis had opened its doors for all those, who are eager to see something new and exciting again, which they got at the end of the day! No pressure from buyers and galleries, on the contrary! There are even different new offers for all, like the art advisory, where anyone could approach professionals-consultants and get advises on the spot, low-key and fun! One can also discover color theories and learn how to perceive colors, how to mix and harmonize them! Everyone can try to do so!

Annually the fair gives its podium to young emerging artists and showcase them as well! International non-European artists are always on the agenda and play an important role!
By including charities annually this fair deserves much applauses and respect! This year the following charity was chosen: SOS Children Villages, which highlights via installations of globes childhood dramas and the artistic way how to deal with it in public spaces! This art work will be soon displayed publicly as a permanent testament to the importance of societal recognition: healing!

To my happiness and joy, I have “spotified“ exceptional works of Dutch Artists and designers, which are presented by Dutch Galleries at the Fair, which are numerous!
Carry Doorn is a Dutch artist who moved from a successful fashion career to the art world, exploring themas of human relationships and their environments. Carry created unique three-dimensional sculptures with materials like tulle and metal mesh, casting intriguing shadows. It’s up to your perspective as a view to interpret Carry’s art.

Creative and colorful chemistry of paint and metals in “Tides of Time” exhibition by Sanne Terweij is presented at the fair as well! As a Dutchable Unduchable I couldn’t skip this splash of orange colors in roasted metals! What’s also absolutely exciting is the technical part of each piece: they’re woven!

And my last, but not least favorite gallery was Art and Lef, which presents organic works hand made from felt and metal, underlining tactility of it in a rawness way! These works are from a Dutch young artist Mirrin de Greeff, a Princess of tactility!
Go to this edition of the fair and experience the thousands of artworks from all over the places, each with their own unique story and feel welcome to discover more about the joy of collecting art, may be take some home!
